Animal kinesiology

What is Specialised Kinesiology?

Specialised kinesiology integrates physical alignment, emotional regulation, and energetic balance to promote holistic wellbeing in both humans and animals.

Kinesiology helps us to evaluate and support the body’s natural structural-, muscular-, energetic-, and emotional systems by using gentle muscle testing as a bio-feedback tool. Using muscle testing, we can identify and correct direct areas of imbalance or tension that may affect an animal’s physical health, behaviour-, or emotional wellbeing. Once these imbalances are identified, we apply the appropriate corrections (non-invasive techniques such as soft tissue release, pressure points, gentle structural adjustments, nutritional guidance, emotional release, metaphysical information, gemstone balances, and so much more). After multiple corrections, we check the changes with another stress evaluation and should find that the stress% has significantly decreased.

Stress and unresolved tension are often underlying factors in behavioural challenges such as anxiety, reactivity, or compulsive behaviours. Specialised Kinesiology addresses these root causes, allowing the animals' body to communicate their needs more effectively and regain a sense of calm, confidence, and balance.

Short history of Specialised Kinesiology:
Specialised kinesiology originates from Applied Kinesiology, developed in the 1960s by Dr. George Goodheart, a chiropractor who discovered that specific muscle testing could reveal dysfunctions in the musculoskeletal, neurological, and energetic systems of the body. Later, Dr. John Thie adapted these principles into Touch for Health, making the methodology accessible to a broader range of practitioners.

Summery:

Kinesiology helps your pet release stress, restore balance, and overcome health issues, behavioural challenges and emotional overwhelm in a gentle, non-invasive way. Part structural support, part emotional reset, it’s designed to keep tails wagging and hearts calm!
